It takes a lot of skill and design to successfully landscape such an unusual area. In many eyes this piece of land might appear limited in size and maybe impossible with such overwhelming boundary walls. But Chris has ingeniously transformed this space, with immense graft, into an attractive and eye-catching multi-layered garden. Brilliant.

Great to see pictures of Trace's project, especially with the laurel hedge now planted. A great way of screening the swimming pool on the inside and providing an attractive rustic wall on the outside. Very inviting.

A definite success! A really easy way of providing a solid base for a wooden shed, and also keeping it slightly raised off the ground, away from damp and puddles, not to mention the fact that you now have a solid wooden foundation to screw the shed floor to. Perfect!

These imaginative raised beds are a tribute to the historical railway network in Collie, that contributed so much to the mining industry. The planters are crafted from both railway sleepers and short lengths of steel rail that crisscrossed this old mining town.

There's something that brings a smile to your face when you see raised beds, sheds or fences that have been painted a vivid blue. These railway sleeper planters are definitely eye-catching, and have a bold 'Let's enjoy life' kind of feel to them, rather than a 'Don't upset the neighbours' approach!
