Manor Farm's menage (sandschool) with railway sleepers
Manor Farm is based in East Leake, Nottinghamshire. It is a wonderful animal sactuary and play area that is open for children to visit, and spend an afternoon playing, and seeing the animals. There is a friendly air of innocence that is great for younger children.

Many equestrian centres and riding arenas use railway sleepers as a substantial edging to keep in the sand or riding material, and to provide a kick-board for the horses. They are often fastened to the bottom of the fence posts, and will last for decades.
