The Guinness book of records largest hanging basket almost!!

Thank you very much for your support in our attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest diameter hanging basket. However, it is with regret that I have to inform you that as a result of the extreme weather conditions on Monday 25 June, the basket partly planted up, shifted slightly on its frame. In view of this and in the interests of safety, the Project Team had no alternative but to abandon the Challenge on this occasion.

The atrocious weather conditions caused havoc on our project as it has in so many other places across the country and on behalf of the Project Team we wish to thank everyone involved for your resolute support.

A brave & ambitious project that was humbly supported by our plinth of railway sleepers. Thankfully it wasn't them that caused the abandonment of the attempt!!
