Chris's raised bed on a slope with new pine railway sleepers
Thanks for my sleeper delivery. The driver kindly helped offload.
I then spent the weekend building these...hard to tell but they're on a slope so I had some work to do!
My aching limbs apart, things look quite good. One bed planted up. The other to be completed this week.

Never underestimate the extra effort involved in landscaping on a slope, however gentle the gradient seems! It normally involves extra digging and levelling to get the railway sleepers looking good and straight, and definitely ends up with you having extra aching muscles. But the final reward is in seeing a project that looks great!
