Eamonn's rectangular raised bed with railway sleepers
The timberlok screws were excellent. They were easy to use and occasional errors could be easily rectified by extracting the screws by reversing the direction of the drill. Please see the ‘before’ images as well as the ‘after’ photos in the next few minutes.

Many thanks for the photos. The wooden sleepers create a warm and welcome contrast to the stone walls. A perfect example of how railway sleepers, like massive wooden bricks, can be used to create raised beds of any size and height, with relative ease. The timberlok screws, as you say, are excellent for locking the railway sleepers together.
