This Wells next the Sea's cafe on Staithe Street is equally popular for holiday makers, crabbers and cyclists. Soak up the sun on the patio that is edged by old railway sleepers.

Used railway sleepers are one of the simplest ways of building a quick retaining wall that will last for years. It's a pity that this Wells next the Sea cafe on Staithe Street didn't use them to also support their fence. It fell over, minutes later, cutting an unfortunate cyclist (myself) who had parked his bike nearby. Painful.
