Corky's US walling project with railway sleepers

I live in America and built a railway sleeper retaining wall in my backyard. I perused your website and got a few ideas from it, and for that I thank you. The project was humongous and I am still sore from the work. I have many pictures and would love to put them online.

I used 127 railway sleepers to build two 80 foot walls to make my sloped backyard useable. 75 were 9 foot and 52 were 8 foot. It has an (American) Old West rustic look and I am very proud of it. I have attached a few pictures to this email so you get the idea of the size of this project. I have quite a story to tell as you can imagine.
Thanks,
Corky

Many thanks for the photos. A great example of a massive project using railway sleepers to create a huge rustic retaining wall (& steps), that is as unique as it is long lasting. A tribute to your determination & hard work.
