Mike Ellis's Pond from used Jarrah Railway Sleepers

Please find attached some photos of our pond built using some of your used jarrah wood railway sleepers.
It was actually finished months ago, I've just been very slack about sending pictures, sorry!
We are absolutely thrilled with it though and the jarrah wood railway sleepers were the perfect material for the job. All the cuts you guys made to size them to my lengths were spot on too. It was a really quick, low fuss project right the way through from ordering to delivery and construction (although drilling holes through it for pump pipes etc takes some doing!) and is already the main feature of the garden and a home to a number of fish. Couldn't be happier with it!

One of the loveliest raised ponds We've seen in a long time. It has a wonderful quality of looking as though it's always been there, a sign of great landscaping. The used Jarrah railway sleepers are such a great colour, and are balanced beautifully by your planting. It's also great to hear how straightforward it was to construct the pond with the railway sleepers. They are, after all, like huge bits of lego! Excellent project.
