Man's trapped foot cut free from railway sleepers near Ilminster.
A man had to be cut free after his foot became trapped in Stocklinch, near Ilminster yesterday.
The fire service was called by police who reported that a man had trapped his foot between railway sleepers at a building site in Stocklinch, Somerset, in the early hours of Monday morning.
A fire crew from Ilminster attended but called for the rescue tender from Yeovil so that hydraulic cutting equipment and additional lighting could be used.
The fire crews administered first aid before the man was handed to the ambulance crew.
