Trying to design a tiny corner of the garden so that it is both attractive but also useable, is surprisingly tricky. Often in can end up cluttered as you try to fit too much in it, or simply pointless when you install five plastic garden gnomes or an antique wagon wheel on a plinth - just because you've got them. In contrast, Martin's delicate seating area works perfectly. It feels like a beautiful secret corner to read in or enjoy the sun, that is impeccably designed and created.
