OLD FRENCH RAILWAY SLEEPER STEPS PERCHED ON HILLSIDE

Whenever you construct something in a natural unspoilt countryside setting, you aim to gently blend into the environment and avoid creating something that may become a contentious eyesore. These old French weathered and bleached railway sleepers look as natural as the rocks themselves, and go a long way towards blending into the hillside.  The railway sleepers are cut into the hillside above Lavigerie, a small village located in the centre of France. It has a population of 102 and is located in the department of Cantal of the french region Auvergne
