A wonderful range of landscaping creations with railway sleepers, that highlight the different levels in your garden to great effect. The solid railway sleeper shed is a natural addition that blends perfectly with the other structures. It's a shame that you have some leaking problems. Normally this is because new railway sleepers shrink as they dry out, creating slight gaps that windblown rain can seap through. It would be a shame to have to overclad the railway sleepers with other timber, so I hope you find some way of using mastic sealant to deal with those leaks, so you can see the railway sleepers in all their glory!

Great to see the photos of your railway sleeper project, especially with the before, during and after shots. Initially I puzzled making sense of your 'finished' pictures as there are disappearing walls and fencing to take into account, but the end product is an attractive, open and peaceful garden. Gently designed and subtly transformed.

Along the willow-lined edge of the river Soare, there are gorgeous properties whose gardens border the water. As their lawns dip into the river, the bank is supported by old railway sleepers slotted into steel i-beams or RSJs. A beautiful setting to sit and daydream.

It can be hard to know how to use the narrow space between your house and your next door neighbour. Sometimes it ends up being a chaotic space of bins, ladders and unused bikes, somewhat similar to the infamous cupboard under the stairs. So all credit to Pete for using new railway sleepers to landscape this confined area and create a stylish and functional planting bed.
