As promised I am attaching some pictures of the completed structures. They are called Lapas (pronounced Larpas) by the way. The website and literature is being compiled at the moment. The spruce poles worked ok but we do have long term concerns on the splitting and appearance. You will also see that we managed to get natural oak for the main uprights which looks fantastic. The solution is that we have a container load of natural grown, straight, African hardwood poles in various dimensions on the way. These are construction grade, strength tested and treated. It would be interesting to hear what you think of the structures.
