'Indoor Sleeper' (2020) was created from repurposed, carefully stacked railway sleepers and the material itself carries the traces of its former existence:
"These railway sleepers are made of wood that has already had a lifetime. They are not consistent. Railway sleepers are what is left after life is done with them."
"When you put sculptures outside, you are aware that the sky is illuminating them and conditioning how they look. Whatever you put out there is always humbled by the bigness of the sky.”
