Chelsea Physic Garden is a unique London garden that houses a magnificent collection of herbs, fruits & plants. This walled Garden was founded in 1673 by the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries for its apprentices to study the medicinal qualities of plants. It became one of the most important centres of botany and plant exchange in the world.
This circular patio from new railway sleepers is one of many unique spaces in the 3.8 acre garden that provides a restful oasis from the London bustling traffic of the Embankment.
