Donna Egan's fireplace with railway sleepers

Unfortunately I dont have any photos of it being made. But the dimensions of it are a total of 102 cms high and 135 cms wide, the railway sleeper width for each side being 22 cms and depth 17 cms. My hubby notched out a grove in the mantle railway sleeper for the legs to rest into.We also used threaded bar & a cement resin into the wall & back of mantle railway sleeper for safety reasons. Prior to the final fit we had electric wires run into two pre drilled holes where we connected small electric blocks to enable us to connect the lamps directly. After lots of sanding, (a week in total!!!) I varnished with a clear matt varnish. Hope you agree, its gorgeous!!!
