Last year you sold me a couple of poles and a landscaping pole. I have meant to send you the picture of the finished/installed product, and have just taken the attached picture. There is a reason for the overhang - namely the rod hanging down is used by my daughter for her athletics training (don't ask). There are normally rings suspended from the hooks in the open space, but they are taken in at the end of each workout.
The telegraph poles are set into concrete. I used an auger (is that how you spell it) to drill a hole just bigger than the pole and the whole arrangement is pretty solid. I have no idea how I will ever get it down if I need to, but I will cross that bridge when I come to it.
