London Embankment raised beds with oak railway sleepers

Situated near Tower Bridge, London Embankment,  on the Thames Path, there have been constructed a dozen low level square raised beds made from new oak railway sleepers, that tourists and local inhabitants step between as they walk along the embankment. Each railway sleeper raised bed contains a tree and is planted up with a mixture of perennials and bedding plants.
