Raised oak railway sleeper beds sitting on local reclaimed bricks

Worthington Landscape and Design are proud to present our most recent project in South Nottinghamshire. This huge project is nearing completion and we are now just waiting to take delivery of the timber to build an Oak & Cedar Gazebo to slot into the composite deck.
After designing the garden with the clients, we stripped the garden ready for a fresh start. We removed several overgrown trees and replaced the crumbling old fence with a smart new smooth concrete installation. The raised beds are constructed from locally reclaimed bricks & new oak railway sleepers.
The pond features a low voltage UV filter to keep it clean and clear, the frogs have already started moving in! Sandstone stepping stones are placed through the new 100m² lawn, although currently a bit stressed from the heat.
So much extra space has been opened up in this inviting garden and we are so pleased with the results!

All credit to you all. Another brilliant project creating a superb garden with a multitude of enjoyable areas that will be a real delight to both frogs and gardeners alike! I like the imaginative way in which the new oak railway sleepers sit on top of a layer of attractive reclaimed bricks to form beautiful raised planters. A very original way of presenting raised beds. All in all, a fabulous garden.
