THE SWEET SMELL OF FRAGRANT RAILWAY SLEEPER RAISED BEDS

Within Staffordshire lies a tiny village with an abundance of horticultural jewels on a quarter of an acre plot. The cottage garden is long and narrow with continuous borders on either side, island beds and a pine railway sleeper raised bed filled with lavender, roses and other delights. There is also a decked area with a large array of pots.
This garden is part of the NGS open gardens scheme which I have attended many times throughout the counties. This one in Little Hay has to be at the top of the list for fragrance and visual impact.
