Harvester patio with railway sleeper walls & raised beds
The Nottingham Harvester restaurant on Wilford Rd, near West Bridgford, Nottingham, is an eighteenth century converted stable block that originally belonged to Wilford Hall. Recent refurbishment included using new railway sleepers in the outside seating area.

A bit like their menu, the Harvester restaurant landscaping is simple, bright and uncomplicated. The new railway sleepers are cheerfully upright and do their job without a fanfair, happy to simply 'do the job' rather than send you into ecstasy - like the food!
