NIGEL'S CANAL SIDE TERRACING & STEPS WITH USED TROPICAL HARDWOOD RAILWAY SLEEPERS
I promised to send some photos of our rather lengthy railway sleeper project, building terracing and steps from the canal at the end of our garden. The total drop from garden to water is probably about 8-10 feet. The work was finished today - these are just a few quick taster photos. When we’ve tidied up a bit more and perhaps when the sun is out, I’ll get some better photos with a drone. However, for now, you can see the amount of effort that has gone in. Even though it was only finished off today, it already looks like it has always been there.

A very impressive project. There is something satisfying about completing a brand new landscaping project with reclaimed weathered railway sleepers, that miraculously appear as though they've been there for years!
