Martin Potter's table from new oak railway sleepers
Thank you very much for the assistance you gave which helped in producing the table I was looking for, for the lounge of my new house. I looked long and hard for the perfect table but was unable to find it. I knew exactly what I wanted and I was inspired by some of the pictures on your web site. I contacted you on Thurs 10th August, collected the railway sleepers on Fri 11th , gave the timber to Alan on Mon 14th and by Sunday 20th I had this beautiful table sitting in my lounge. Alan is an amazingly gifted chap that has worked for my family business for 34 years and has done such jobs for my father and uncle before me.I expected this table to take a few months as he was doing it in his own time but knowing I moved into my new home on Friday 18th he phoned up the next day to see if he could deliver the table. So as not to waste any of the timber, and to complement the table, I now also have a beautiful lamp stand. So attached are a few photos of both pieces which I will enjoy for many,many years to come. Thanks for your very friendly and efficient service. I will recomend you to everyone.
