REMEMBER TO LOCK UP your 'shabby chic' plinths made from oak railway sleepers
Just a note to thank you once again for providing just what I needed. Not the finest crafted oak plinths (very shabby chic but my daughter’s already eyeing them up) but they’ve come up quite nicely and saved me a small fortune.

Sometimes our children can be slightly sniffy about our handmade creations, and it is rare that they harbour any excitement about using them for their own 'perfectly designed' homes. Clearly your quirky oak columns have ticked a unique box, and are a definite success, although one you may not be able to savour for long if your daughter has any say in it. Keep them under lock and key!
