TREATING CUT ENDS
Protek ESP (End Seal Protection) (NOT Extra Sensory Perception!) is designed for treating the bare ends of pressure-treated railway sleepers that have been cut, notched or drilled into. This brush-on protection requires no topcoat. The fungicide is specifically formulated to combat wood-rotting fungi, algae, lichen, mould, and other growths. Building regulations state that all cut ends of pressure-treated timber must be re-treated.
