Woodturning from railway sleeper offcuts
Whether it's a piece of wood, a block of stone or a lump of clay, it's amazing how people can transform such raw materials into objects of beauty. Over the years our customers have created eye-catching objects through woodturning small pieces of wooden railway sleepers. Woodturning is an incredible skill that takes a lot of patience, practice and perseverance, but the end product can be astonishing! Transforming a raw piece of wood into a true work of art is wonderful.
Our blocks of railway sleeper offcuts come in various sizes that have mainly come from new oak railway sleepers (including Quercus Rober and Quercus Rubra) and new tropical hardwood railway sleepers, (including Azobe, Angelim Vermelho & Angelim Pedra).
