As promised, I have attached a couple of photos of the table that I made from your Jarrah railway sleepers. The fact that I had to pick coal dust out of cracks in the timber, attests to their age and use on the railways. The character of this long use is retained on the outer surfaces, while the curved cut along their length has been sanded and polished to bring out the beautiful colour of the timber. Hand-turned stainless steel fittings and 20mm glass, finish the blend of ancient and modern.
Hope you like it.
Supremely elegant and imaginative, and a triumph of cutting and determination ! You've created a facinating and beautiful table.
