PETER CONSTRUCTS A STYLISH CORNER BENCH WITH UKRAINIAN OAK RAILWAY SLEEPERS
A few pictures of the Ukrainian oak railway sleepers that we used for bench seats.
The 1st job was to cut them to size.
The 2nd job was to sand them down with a belt sander.
The 3rd job was to apply preservative and then a uv oil (ultra violet resistant)
The 4th and final job was to fit it!

It's great to see Peter's stage by stage pictures as he builds a wonderful L shaped garden seat using new railway sleepers. The beautiful grain and colour of the oak really shine out after sanding and oiling, and beautifully contrast with the grey tiles and white rendered walls. Very stylish.
