HOW TO BUILD A REALLY SIMPLE BASE FOR A SHED WITH RAILWAY SLEEPERS
Here are some pictures of our recent project building a railway sleeper base for our shed to attach to, whilst leaving a small entrance area to stand on when going in and out of the shed door. We wanted it to be simple and as quick as possible. Making sure the framework was level for the shed to sit on was obviously important, and took a few minutes, but once that was achieved the actual screwing together of the railway sleepers was remarkably quick. A satisfying project!

A definite success! A really easy way of providing a solid base for a wooden shed, and also keeping it slightly raised off the ground, away from damp and puddles, not to mention the fact that you now have a solid wooden foundation to screw the shed floor to. Perfect!
