STEVE'S STEPS, RAISED BED & FENCE POSTS USING NEW OAK RAILWAY SLEEPERS
Your portfolio of projects is now very impressive. I said I would send you some photos of my garden when complete, finally here they are. 60m of new fence using your 200x100 new oak railway sleepers. The earlier fence kept blowing down, whereas this one is bombproof. Posts are minimum 900 into the ground in 400 x 300 X 900 concrete footings. The new oak railway sleepers were also used as steps and to create a raised vegetable bed, with stainless steel dowels holding it together. Should have taken more before and during photos! Your oak railway sleepers are a great product to work with. Only needs a bit of imagination, a good circular saw and some gravel.
