STUART'S RAISED PLANTER FROM NEW OAK RAILWAY SLEEPERS
Please find attached photos of my railway sleeper planter! Completed this summer with new french oak railway sleepers supplied by you. The delivery guy was excellent, very helpful and gave invaluable tips in how to move such heavy items safely - most of which I did on my own with the help of a modified sack truck (see photo) so that I only had to lift one end onto the truck and then lift and steer with the other end. I'm really pleased with the result, the whole area in these photos was an oversized garage. Through the spring and summer we demolished the garage, removed the foundation slab, laid new soil, created the path and patio, planted grass seed and finally a railway sleeper planter.

PS. I have in mind to do the other side of the garden next year. More railway sleepers may be required. I might need a bigger saw for Christmas!

Great to see the photos of you constructing your raised bed. New oak railway sleepers are surprisingly heavy, and all credit to your 'two wheeled' solution that enabled you to move the railway sleepers singlehandedly around the garden. An impressive and sturdy looking planter.
