Thanks for your brilliant pictures. What an epic project you took on to transform your steep sloping garden. Terracing garden slopes with is one of the most popular usages of railway sleepers. Here they are placed in a trench vertically, and are a fine alternative to a brick wall, creating imaginative areas from an unusable slope.
