Victoria Embankment's curved Railway Sleeper Walls & Benches
This vibrant public park is part of the chain of open spaces along Victoria Embankment in London that were opened in 1865. It is popular with office workers as a pleasant space to eat lunch and relax, with grass areas, bedding displays and a bandstand with a programme of events throughout the summer. Curved walls made from new hardwood railway sleepers are a new addition to the landscaping design.
