Oak barrels are a reminder of bygone days... of sailing boats, ancient trading and settlers. Nostalgic memories of carts and shirehorses and a smell of wine, beer and apples. Our barrels (or strictly termed casks) are made of oak, and are bought from Scottish whisky distillers when they sell or upgrade their stock. They look excellent in gardens as an original feature that is both practical, historical and attractive. They come in different sizes and have intriguing names such as Butts, Puncheons and Hogsheads.
